Nikon Coolpix 8800 plus 1.7 TC (equals aproximatelly 600mm) taken on high jpeg (usually I do RAW and I recommend that to all since jpegs loose quality), on tripod with ballhead. Finally I am proud of the digital cameras, they got to compete with film ones in quality and the cost of switch is nowhere near as high as price of film and processing (do I sound odd ?!) I shot at least 100 images of this lynx and got probably five I will keep and it costed me nothing, not even had to change the film ...
Love the digital more and more every day ...

Como amante de los gatos, me encanta ver esta imagen tan agradable.
Excelente perspectiva, con bellos tonos y buena agudeza, especialmente sobre su cabeza.

WOW! Radu, I love the lesser cats. They are my favourite. I am building a theme on them and this one surely belongs there. Very nice composition and pose. Fantastic work, I really love this one.

Stunning portrait, the eyes are fantastic, great shot.

I have always said this about digital, that it allows you to push the photographic enverlope, and learn instantly what works for you and your camera. It is obvious from this great in its enviroment shot, that from the 100+ you learned a lot and dared some more and came up with a winner.

Beautiful cat, but what strikes me most is the composition. I like the natural frame around the cats head.

simpatic pisoi! absolut corecte argumentarile in favoarea aparatelor digitale. pentru a capta un fulger, eu am cheltuit 125 cadre. si nu trebuie de negat faptul, ca rezultatul il vezi imediat.
