Chimpanzees are omnivores (eating plants and meat). They forage for food in the forests during the day, eating leaves, fruit, seeds, tree bark, plant bulbs, tender plant shoots, and flowers. They also eat termites, ants, and small animals
Chimpanzees drink water, often by using a chewed leaf as a sponge to sop up the water.
Chimpanzees live about 60 years in captivity; their life span in the wild is only about 35-40 years.
Buddy died this year. I do know that I remember him as a youngster in the 60's. Our whole city misses him.

Hello Randy,
A very touching image, the title is perfect and a nice note. I really like the black and white silhouette, it works well with the theme of the image. Timing is excellent to catch the Chimp with his head down. Minor nits would be lack of sharpness around the edges and I think it would be better with the platform level (it tilts down to the left). Artistic quality of this is excellent, well seen and captured.
