[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Evolution Basin is quite a dramatic landscape. As you can see, it's just at timberline, so there are some trees at the lower elevations, and unobstructed views above. That's Evolution Lake, with, I believe, Mt. Darwin in the background.

What I was most proud of here was taking three shots from the same vantage point at different times of day (afternoon, evening, and the next morning). The light makes the mountains look dramatically different, and you'll see that in the next posting.

Scanned from a 35mm negative. PP: Some cloning, a contrast adjustment, sharpen, resize and frame.

Hello Mike,
A beautiful landscape in a fine, well balanced composition!
I like your point of view here, giving a pleasant angle on the landscape! Good lines, colours and details... not bad for an older negative!

PS - Years ago I had a friend named John Muir, Scottish guy and a football player...

Wonderful landscape, Mike! Very well captured to TN! Nice colours and POV! TFS!

An awesome landscape shot indeed! I love the use of colour, composition, and DOF. There is a lot of detail for a landscape shot due to DOF, making it extremely appealing to the eye. TFS,

this is a really beautiful landscape with wonderful landscapes.
