A resting peacock at the Bronx zoo, New York. The Bronx zoo has a large number of peacocks and peahens. The zoo also houses a large collection of animals from all over the world. It is a must see for the New York visitors.

Peacock is a national bird of India.

Hi Imam,
Very nice portrait of this beautiful bird. Quite an unusual pose as well, most portraits of this bird are standing with the tail fanned out. Beautiful colours, nice work.

Hello Imam, yes you have a beauty here. These males are so attractive, but I also think the females have quite a charm about them too.
I photographed some white peacocks on TN a few months back. They are really so different! And very interesting to see too.
