[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Both the echinacea and the small butterfly were visitors to my garden. The echinacea (and brown eyed susans next to it) seeded from the neighbor and have done spectacularly well. The little butterfly (only about 1 cm. in length) was enjoying the beautiful flower as well. Any ID help on the insect would be much appreciated!

That is one big flower and one little butterfly. Nice sense of scale, lovely colours and excellent details. Not sure on ID - I would guess some type of skipper

Hi Alli, I love these echanacea flowers, and your little b'fly does look good sitting on the top of it. These flowers certainly attract the insect life. Well captured, TFS
Janice

Hello Alli
Wonderful capture of this Cone Flower (Echinacea)
The detail and colours are nice and sharp. The little
butterfly is a nice bonus.
I love this flower, I have a white one that grows in my garden. It's hasn't bloomed yet, hopefully soon.
TFS Janice (the northern hemisphere Janice) :))

Alli,

I love the colors in your shot. Very nice balance.

Merci et au revoir....JP

Hi Alli

Lovely composed shot. What a tiny wee charachter we have here. Nice camera work! :-)

Hi Alli,
How lucky you are to get flowers seeding from the neighbor's garden. Have you talked the neighbor into coming over to water them? A perfect looking cone flower. Beautiful colors and sharp detail. That is a tiny little butterfly. He makes the flower look so large.
Scott

Nice shot Alli,
The details are nice, clear and sharp.
Good colours, lighting and exposure. The POV is good.
Well composed and well framed. The B'fly is definately a skipper of some kind.
Thanks for posting, have a great week.

I will mail you hopefully tomorrow, I have been asked to do something which you will find hilarious!!!!!

J'ai eu un sourire lorsque j'ai regardé cette photo. L'insecte sur la fleur forme un triangle complet. C'est merveilleux. Superbe composition.
Merci Alli pour cette belle présentation.

Could it be a fiery skipper? I'm not sure though.

This is an amazing shot in that both subjects are well focused. the composition does an excellent job of illustrating the differences in the sizes. Very sharp and great colors! :)
