Hi Mark,
This is a good catch in action! The colors are very stunning! Great details and composition with good exposure (I like the fact that its wings are blurred). Lightning and constrast are very good too. I have also a demo version of NI and yes, all the exit data always disapeared ;) TFS,
Claudine

Great action photo, Mark.
It almost seems as if it doesn't have wings at all. Amazing really! Really, such lovely detail here. The clarity is great and the DOF is about perfect!
The saturation of the colours are superb also. Very nicely taken.

Hello Mark,
Excellent shot, great detail and colours, excellent DOF and the composition is perfect, I love the way the flower fills the right side of the frame. As for NI, I bought the home edition and the greatest benefit for me is that I can use it as a photoshop plugin, so I can select areas in photoshop and just apply NI to those areas as a filter.
Keeping the exif is good, but of course when you upload to TN it's tripped anyway (I downloaded an image that I know had exif data and TN had stripped it).
Great work!
Cheers,
Adrian

Fantastic shot, Mark.
You froze that moth in mid-air sipping nectar.
The details are so sharp, and the colors are beautiful.
A really wonderful scene well captured.

Hi Mark,
Stunning shot, with beautiful vibrant colours and excellent lighting. Detail is impressive even when considering the speed at which this creature flits around.

Hello Mark,
very impressing in-flight close up. Perfect point of view, excellent details, marvellously rich colours in great harmony. Powerful composition, an eye catcher!
Nicely documented here that glasswing hawkmoths usually touch their target flower with their front pair of legs, while the hummingbird hawk seems avoid using any help of the legs when hoverng in front of a blossom.
Great shot! Thank you.
Best regards,
Peter

I don't belive i've seen a picture of a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth in which the legs would be visible before. Splendid shot, Mark!
The details are great, the POV excellent, the BG very nice pale and contrasting with the subject. Also very beautiful colors and light in this picture.
Very well done!
Bravo and TFS
Horia
