I took this picture 1 hour before sunset during a walk after diner at the AMC lodge in Pinkham Notch.
This is a two-tiered spectacular fall, with a dramatic 60' wall of water.

Salut Patrick,
Quelle atmosphère, quelle beauté se dégage de ta photo! C'est une cascade d'un autre monde.
Salutations
Anne

The EXPOSURE is PERFECT. The "light" so well balanced
that it has boggled my mind as to how you did this photo so uniquelly.
The WATER seems to want to jump out of the screen.
Congratulations.
Mario.

Hermosa imagen. Preciosos los colores.
Un saludo,JL.

Patrick,

This is one for a frame and a place on your wall. The long exposure really makes this one.

I hope you have more.

Bonjour Patrick
C'est une très belle prise de vue avec cette belle cascade qui coule parmis les rochers,très belle compositon, avec de belles couleurs et de jolis détails.
Merci et a la prochaaine....JP

Lovely shot, Patrick. The long exposure really helps the falls live up to its name. I think the exposure is accurate, but it feels a little dark as a photo. There is a bit of a color shift from light this time of day, too (toward blue). My personal taste would be to adjust the brightness or the color shift a bit, even though it's unnatural, just to give it a nicer balance. But I'm probably in the minority here, and jsut trying to give something to consider as an option.
Mike

Hello Patrick,
Well framed waterfall with superb details!
I like your composition, and the low light is enhancing the atmosphere...
Good composition!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Patrick,
What a stunning photo. The shutter speed made this photo really beautiful. Great sharpness thoughtout the entire photo and beautiful colors. The low light created something special. I first thought that the photo was tilted, probably because of the slope of the water fall and the dead tree. Then I looked at the way the water dropped and it is vertical. So the photo is as straight as it can be. I am going to add this one to my fav's, because I want to look at more often.
TFS,
Niek

This is beautiful! The sharpness and clarity in the moving water is absolutely stunning!
It is like an image from lord of the rings or something like that. Im just waiting for the fairies to come out behind the waterfall.
Lovely!

Hello Patrick,
I like such pictures so much. Blurred water and dim, cool light. Very suggestive - almost feel the atmosphere of that forest :-)
Best greetings,
Michal

Excellent!!!
