|This is one of the millions of monarch butterflys that spend a good chunk of each year at the butterfly grove in Pacific Grove CA. There are huge masses of them on branches as shown by this.|
Unfortunetly a falling tree branch killed someone a few years ago so now you can't get as close to the trees as you used to. But the butterflys are still all around. I believe they are in Pacific Grove from around Nov to Mar.
