Repost (The first attempt was to far to the right so here is the original.)
In the mountains around Gunnison, Colorado. First time I have ever gone hunting deer with only a camera. I was lucky to have my good lens with me. This guy stood only 20 meters away for almost 30 seconds. Taken on the first day of the hunting season so its all the more surprising to get his photo. My party did get their deer (a doe) later on that afternoon very near where I took this. While we were cleaning it about 10 other hunters came along asking if we had gotten "him." This is him and I kind of doubt if he is still around...but then he is a nice sized adult so he must be pretty smart. I got just as excited doing this kind of hunting and had to carry a lot less gear. Note the pine bough on his head.

Sean,
Beautiful buck, good pov, I like him going out of the image.
Makes you wonder were he is off too,
hopefully someplace safe.
