It took several tries, but I managed to capture this fellow just as he hit the water. This was taken on Sanibel Beach, near the lighthouse. It is a marvelous place for photography, as well as the incredible shells.

(we all publish in 800 pixels on TN as this is the maximum size and small pics is a pity)
I'd like to know the ID of the bird. I'm not a wizard in waterbirds neither. Hopefully another TN reader will know.
