When in Stowe you can't NOT see the mountains ..they are everywhere...this is a view of Mt. Mansfield. They actually call him the old man ..you can see his forehead and his nose..this photo doesn't show the rest of him...:o) The mountains had a fresh covering of snow the morning I took this photo which soon melted away as the temperatures rose again.
Thanks for visting my gallery and for your comments on my photos...
Donna :o)

Hello Donna,

Beautifull panorama, I like this time of the year when the montains get their first snow falls. Well done, TFS

Hi Donna

Another superb view over this magnificent scenary!
The view here is impressive and, due to the excellent DOF, it feels it could go on and on... :)
The natural colors look great, the details are very nice and sharp and the exposure is very well managed.
Also very nicely framed and composed.

Bravo and TFS

Hi Donna,
Another even more beautiful panoramic landscape!

Is that a ski slope I see on the right? I'm not really sure where to look for the forehead and nose...;-( So, would it be obvious if pointed out? Any chance you could be troubled to do a workshop that makes it obvious for those of us who don't have the discerning eye?...;-) Did you take one big picture and crop? or, did you splice a couple of shots together? Sorry for being so nosey...;-)

This one is a winner!

Thanks & TFS,

Picture perfect; just like a post card.

Hi Donna,
Very beautiful panorama. colorus, sharp and composition are wonderful.

Hi Donna,

Keep them coming! I love this panoramic landscape of the Mansfield. Very familiar site. Was this picture taken of route 100 between Stowe and Morrisville?
Nice colors and POV from this place. Classical Stowe picture. A grad filter could have helped, I think!
To anwser your question of yesterday for NH, we have reservation this winter at the AMC lodges and we like to drive trough Stowe going there.

PC :)

Hi Donna,
Lovely wide landscape photo. Is this from a single shot or stiched from several photos? This mountain landscape is amazingly beautiful.
Great shot.

Hi Donna,
wonderful composed landscape, the panoramic view and the framing are excellent. WVery well captured, with excellent POV.

Hello Donna,
Good choice of panoramic format, fits the lines in the landscape well!
I notice the thin layer of snow in the mountains...
Pleasant composition with good details!
