[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Every year millions of monarch butterflys go to Pacfic Grove. It used to be you could get within feet of them but a tree branch fell and killed someone so you now can't get right under the trees. The trees by the way re very tall, 60+ feet i'd guess.

The photo was taken with a long telephoto, probably 600mm.

Hello "Trinko",
I havn't read your intro before and now I can't stop laughing!! Anyway, down to basics,
this is a great shot of the Monarchs gathering, must be fantastic to see this! You've captured them so well, very sharp and the light is fantastic. A really great shot!
