[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was one of two geese flying together up the Pacific coast. For some reason i never expect to see geese by the coast even though i've seen them there several times. This shot was actually taken from the deck of the Monterey Bay aquarium which provides a great view of the ocean and a variety of animals.

oh yeah before anyone mentions how closely the picture is cropped by the goose's beak, that's not cropped. God was good and let me just catch the whole animal in the frame!

Excellent cadrage. On dirait un chasseur.
Bonne journée.

Hi Tom,
This is a good capture - the goose is sharp and has a great expression.
What I do not like is the very tight framing near the head. You were lucky to get it in the frame.
I tried a workshop to give some more space...
TFS - Shir

Nice clear action shot.
I posted a workshot as the open space should ideally be in front of him, not behind.

Very nice..... I agree with the space... But the action is a winner... Not everybody takes shots of stuffed animals :)

Hi Tom

Good in-flight, but the poor Canada Goose has no space to fly into.

Sbonk! on the edge of the frame...
