This female bald eagle and her mate have killed a small seal that carelessly hauled itself out onto an open beach away from the protection of parents and water. This is one reason that fewer than half of harbor seals survive their first year.

Hello Christopher,
Fine action shot of a Bald Eagle feeding. Though it would be better slightly closer this shot is not sharp enough to allow the appropriate crop. However a small view of the habitat is a consolation.
