[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's one Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo), an adult male, at his best!!!!! In mating display! Isn't he so amazing?? There were three of them together.. (actually, well, the three of them ARE always together!).. and these three males were trying to impress two females roaming around in front of them. :))

Found him (and them) in Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. It was in this month only, during a visit there! :)

PS: When I aimed his dress-up the entire outfit was in frame, and then the Turkey started walking towards me! (Not me, am lying. The females actually!) ;)) So, oops! A part of his stunning fan, is outside the frame. Sorry! :/ :D

Hello Ruby, and congratulations on this great photo of the Eastern Wild Turkey.
I have been wanting to get a shot of this beautiful bird in full strut for a long time, but haven't had the time to set up for it. Wild Turkeys have excellent eye sight and very acute hearing, if they had a sensitive nose like a deer you would probably never get close to them.
You have already explained about the tail being slightly out of the frame which is easily understandable, otherwise a perfect capture. You have shown this beautiful bird at it's best pose while displaying excellent detail and beautiful natural colors. Looks like a fairly long beard which is very impressive. I am so jealous, but thrilled to death that you managed to capture such a wonderful image:) Well done!!
