[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The trees along this ridge where we camped don't much of a chance to grow very tall due to the harsh conditions that must be endured. This area is covered with snow from November to July and is subject to some pretty fierce winds, which is the case here.
If you look closely you can see our camp on the knoll in the background. Took quite a bit of work keeping the camera steady for this shot due to the high winds.

Hi Tim,
This sounds like a true expedition. This almost looks like a B/W photo, but I thnik I do see some green color. I think by cropping the bottom and getting more room at the top the trees come out better. The interest of the photo is now all in the top part.
