[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Fuscous Honeyeater (Lichenostomus fuscus) foraging on nectar from these eucalypt flowers. Fuscous Honeyeater is distributed through forests and woodlands of eastern Australia, generally east of the Great Dividing Range south of Cairns. They are a highly nomadic species, following tehrains and thus flowering eucalypts. They are also insectivorous during the breeding season and in winter. They are often found in small groups with larger groups of 20+ forming in winter.

Hi Chris,
A nice capture of this beautiful Fuscous Honeyeater bird. Very well composed with sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Chris,

A very fine capture, especially considering the beauty's head pard under shadow. Looks well exposed, good sharpness too. Great work MF
TFS and cheers,

Bayram

Ciao Chis, difficult capture of lovely bird, splendid sharpness, good blurry BG, fine details and fantastic colors, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Chris,
A great capture but it's a pity that the head of the bird was under the shade!
With U-point from Nikon Capture I lightened the head but of course working on the original (RAW) will give a much better result!
Best regards
Albert
