My, what an amazing bill to this bird, Chi!This is a fantastic frontal capture of this Pelican.
It is not a simple picture; it is a work of art of high quality.
Thanks for sharing this great image.

he looks so disjointed and strange i presume some of the plumage is black as it disapears into the background. still a beautiful image. would have liked to see more reflection it seems cut off.

Hello Chi,
Excellent photo in a perfect POV. Great contrasting colours and sharpness. Fantastic composition.

Peter

Hello Chi,

Wonderful frontal shot of this big beautiful Pelican.
Love the contrast between the B&W in the feathers and the wonderful colors on the bill.
Pity the BG is a little dark and therefore the black feathers of the bird don't pop up as much as I wouls like to have seen.
Excellent sharpness and exposure and due to that all feather details, even in the white ones, are beautifully visible.
TFS!!

Best regards, Harry

What a wonderful eye-catching photo! It jumped out at me in the gallery. Great b&w combinations here creating the most interesting shapes and effects. Great dynamic range. Good details. A wonderful shot! :)

Hi Chi.
Wonderful creative work. I am amazed with combination of white (light) parts of the fine bird and deep dark surroundings. Terrific exposure, great sharpness and details, refined use of lights and darks. Bravo.
Alexei.

A beautiful frontal capture of this fine pelican specimen in contrasty colours and good plumage detail Chi, the dark BG really made this a perfect composition.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Hi Chi Liu,
A great POV of this pelican.
I love the frontal view, and the symmetry that it affords.
Excellent details and colors on that wonderful beak.
There is a lot more black on this Australian pelican than we see on ours.
Very interesting image.
TFS. : )

This is an excellent full frontal portrait!
I like the point of view eye to eye with your feathered friend, great details in the plumage...
The framing works well and the rippled reflection is a bonus!
