Another excellent shot of one of our Australian Native Birds, not easy shooting black and white birds but you've handled the exposure well, love the POV, and the vertical crop is perfect, really nice work, all the best,
Cheers Rick :)

Lovely shot of this handsome bird - one of those that immediately make me think of Australia (the Australian Crow is the other - the noises they make just crack me up)!

Thanks for your kind words on my Cormorant picture and for smiling with my note on it.
You have used your 150mm macro lens with great dexterity in shooting this fairly large Australian Magpie. The image is razor sharp and rich in colours.
I am sure we would soon see some outstanding macros of bugs and insects shot with this powerful lens.
I wish you all the best in your experimentation with it.

a good picture of this Magpie. I don't know why it is so difficult to get a good shot of them, even if they usually come quite near - perhaps because of their colour or lack of colour?

Sue - Great capture of the Aussie Magpie with your brand new Macro lens. Black & white is difficult, but you certainly make it look easy. Looking forward to the bugs. TFS Di
