[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
a couple of Pied Oystercatchers i saw on the beach at Yorkeys Knob, near Cairns, just waiting to be photographed..
most of the time they were busy searching for food, but got this pic of them when they paused for a moment, almost as if to appreciate the fantastic environment around them.
i like it, it reminds me of how i feel when on holidays at an awesome beach.. i can look out at the ocean for hours.

good shot with fine POV to show them both in the same pose, fine colours,

Hi Gethin!

Good Pied Oystercatchers you got there.
I like the synchronically static posture and the black plumage contrast with white sea water.

Hello Gethin,

Very nice picture of this oystercatchers. Good focus and sharpness. Beautiful natural colours.

Hi Gethin - I rather like the depth of field here. Adds a measure of peacefulness to the capture. Great colors and framing.

Hello Gethin,

These two almost like duplicates. They seem to be aware of your presence and paused for this holiday contemplation pose. Well done.
