[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Kookaburra had just picked up his breakfast and was hopping around a gum tree not far from where I was sitting. Not exactly my taste in food, but he seemed quite keen on it.

Bon appétit! Voilà cet oiseau satisfait de sa proie, tout comme toi, tu peux être satisfait d'une si belle photo. Bravo!

Hi Norman,
Welcome to TN, great first post, clean and sharp. Good handling of exposure, beautiful bird - I'm partial to Aussie birds ;-))
Concerning the breakfast issue, well, I think I'll eat out today, if that's what's cooking ;-))

Hi Norman.
What a beautiful shot to begin with, nice composition, excellent moment captured, and I like best the natural lights and colours.
A big welcome to TN, hope to see more photos and critics soon.

So this is a kookaburra! At long last, and after many years of singing that campfire tune I finally get to meet one. Somewhat lacking in judgement where breakfast food is concerned. Wonderful photo. Great detail, color, composition too. Thank you Norman, and welcome to TN!

Welcome to this great side Norman,
I love kookaburras, I made a few shots int he Zoo, but I see you took this in wild, wauw a fantastic capture, good composition, good sharpnes, very good job I like it.

Amazing shot. Already it's not easy to photograph Kookaburras but with his brekkie as well - congratulations.

Excellent view of a kookaburra doing what comes naturally. Very sharp - I like the clarity of the eye, for example, and feathers.

I'm sure he would enjoy it too! Lovely crisp shot of both bird and insect. TFS
