[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Splendid Tree Frog (Litoria splendida) is a large tree frog (100 mm) restricted in distribution to tropical woodlands of north western Australia. It is distinguished from the more widely distributed Green Tree Frog (Litoria caerulea) by its bright orange underparts, the large gland behind the eye and numerous pale yellow spots on its dorsal surface.
This one was taken at the amphibian display in The Northern Territory Wildlife Park. Cropped and sharpened.

Excelent capture. No need to go in details.
Well done.
Now, how about a front view at the frog's level.?

Mike

Very nice. Are you sure it's alive? Just kidding... Great shot - good texture, sharp details. Very well done. TFS.

Chris, I have said it once or twenty times. :) The specimens you show are awe inspiring. Fantastic stuff to watch the critters you post. This is fabulous. Great shot.

Strange animal, has been nice to see this. Very good use of fill flash, just in the spot.

Crikey...How the hell does this big bugger climb trees? Those look a bit like suckers on his fingers. What cool spots too. A Splendid Tree Frog indeed!

Don't you just love a good frog photo? We have the L. caerulea as well in Papua and they grow to about 14 cm SVL.
