[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The same type of Finch as in "Tiny" but this time engaged in seed collecting. This character was much more shy than the other one, but I did get this (at full zoom) when he settled briefly.

Taken at Illawong wildlife sanctuary, Queensland, Australia. Not an inmate, but a visitor to the surrounding foliage.

Beautiful natural shot - very clear and colorful. The frame works well to complement the bird's colors. There's a little fuzzy area under its tail - either cloning that didn't quite work, or an area that could benefit froma little cloning or blurring to erase the circular lines visible there.

Nice picture, sharp and well framed, with some troublesome clutter in FG. I posted a WS (on the previous posting of the same bird - sorry) where I tried to remove part of it. See if you find it worthwhile.

Hi Norman.
Another nice shot. I think it is the Red-browed Firetail finch. Very attractive looking bird in a natural pose. They don't sit for long so this is a great capture. Well done and TFS.

He is beautiful and they are so hard to capture.A shame he couldn't have been more co-operative for you and sat in front of the stick. This is still a clear shot of a really tiny bird that rarely sits still for more than a second. Thanks for posting this one the colours are great.
