Mudjimba Beach

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the beautiful Mudjimba Beach. You can see the cute little Mudjimba island, also known as 'Old Woman' island in the distance.
I snapped the photo just at right time to catch the surfer riding the wave.
The power, textures and beauty of waves are incredible and it is truly amazing how their tidal movement is influenced by the moon's gravitational pull.
This photo was taken at dusk, so the colours were warm. I slightly enhanced them and "warmed" them even more using tone adjustment and colour balance. |

Hi Claudia,
nice looking wave, clean and glassy...unlike the waves here this weekend! Love the way the sun's caught the surfer as he's hit the lip, the darkened foreground really highlights this...Great shot.

Hi Claudia, I like your timing on this one. You caught that guy on that wave perfectly to put him into the light. Good placement of the surfer also in contrast to the island. Very good colour and I really like that composition.
Thanks, John
