Hi James,
The texture in this image is very intriguing it almost has the Bryce Canyons look to it. Were you in a helicopter when you photographed this? TFS :)

Hi James
These shapes here look like they are going on and one forever! :)
What a perspective and what a depth here in this shot! Terrific!
Now even if you took this from the plane and it also might have lost some bits while scanning the slide, all that doesn't matter here because it's the sight itself that captures the attention.
The colors of all these 3D layer of rock are impressive and really attractive. Very well captured!
Bravo and TFS

Hello James,
That's an amazing landscape? When I saw the photo at the first ime on my sreen I think. Whats happen, the photo is not sharp or is there something wrong at my screen. But If you take a better look then she is wonderful. What a landscape, superb. How is it possible that mother Nature can configure that on this way. Great composition. The colors are wonderful. Must have been again a beautiful flight. Regards and TFS BOB

Hi James!
And I thought patterns like these one just exist in my ice-formations! They are incredible and they are once more a splendid reflection of the beauties of our planet. You have the secret to show us them!
Kind regards
Markus

Hello James
Another fascinating lesson portrayed so well by the wonderful picture and explanatory note.
Its so interesting to see the river run through the scene but to learn that this is not the only erosion process at work.
Another Top Post for which I thank you.

Only in Australia would you get a name like "Bungle Bungles"... It's wonderful! Thanks for today's geology lesson. The oranges with the greens is interesting.

Hi James. As yet terra incognita for me. Definitely a marvelous place. So vast and so beautiful- in the non-European sort of way. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi James
Although a familiar sight to me, this formation is nonetheless beautiful. And you've captured it very well getting great contrast between the unusaully green savanah and the morning light on the rocks. Good scan from slide too.

Hi James,
an incredible view of the famous Bungle Bungles! Fascinating to see the rock banding and to see them stcked up like this. I see there is another lone outcrop in the distance to the left...strange to see it so isolated like that. Thanks alot for sharing this one, great shot!

Hi James-
Just found this gorgeous shot for the first time- it caught my attention because it seemed at first like an aerial view of the Devil's Garden section of Arches NP in Utah. Ever been there? I don't find anything from you when searching under TN/Arches. You would love the place.
