Although I stay close by the sea, I have not seen a view of the ocean for a very long time, and you have just filled this void by this lovely seascape. The picture you have captured here looks very peaceful and undisturbed, and you could not have asked for a better place to be at the time. I am quite jealous and envy you a tiny bit. Our beaches are not safe, being one of the reasons why I have not been there for such a long time. The different layers of colour in the sky and land are a wonderful sight and the light captured on the rocks plays with one’s eyes.

This is a superb seascape from you, my friend!
When i first saw this i said: "PaulH" :) and only after i realized it's not.
Very beautiful high vista point here that gave you a splendid perspective towards the entire beach and cliffs.
The mood of your scene is also lovely and the tones and colors everywhere are most charming.
Composition-wise, i'm not too sure about the 50-50 work, but i'm also pretty confident it was really hard for you to decide, too, which to include more: the amazing beach and rocks or that beautiful, after storm sky.
Anyway, lovely work and great presentation.

This is a beautiful coastal view taken in the light of the setting sun to show some of the Twelve Apostles. The composition of the cliff line and the clouds is fantastic with the red lighting on the cliffs.

Superb landscape image here captured with perfect lighting against the beautiful sky. The light catching on the cliff with small waves are so well registered and the glow along the horizon is amazing. The clear blue sky on the right contrasting well and well done indeed in showing us this fine view.

The picture actually appears to be moving..like in an optical illusion...it feels movement to the right an up a bit..perhaps that is due to the sweeping view of the clouds....wow...You certainly get a chance to visit some remarkable places Jose! I am impressed!

Hi Jose

I surely hope that the 12 Apostles have led you home for Christmas this year (chuckle).
Sorry that I didn't make it for Christmas wishes, but at least I can set the record straight
for New Years wishes. Anyway, this is a fabulous scenery and I can understand why you
would feel at least reasonably comfortable spending Christmas in such lovely surrounding
even though it still took second place after being home.

I love this shot for various reasons. The colours are spectacular. The composition is well
managed with numerous triangles popping up all over the image. The details are nice and
sharp throughout the entire range of the sea & landscape. The cliffs on the right, with
at least some of the 13 "Apostolic" stacks (chuckle) in the centre, and finally the ocean
to the left provided some nice balance to the shot.

To you and your loved ones I wish a wonderful, healthy, and a prosperous 2010.
