This lorikeet is certainly the most colourful bird that I have seen. Unfortunately, when I was in Australia, a few years ago, all I had was an old generation Nikon point and shoot and was never happy with the results.
Your picture is very good with excellent details and a beautiful background to help your cute subject to stand out.
