[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A well known bird on TrekNature, the Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae) is native from the Eastern States of Autralia. It was introduced in the SW of Australia in the early 1900s to kill snakes. It does not seem to have had much of an impact on reptile populations, and most West Australians do not realise it is not a native bird as it has become common. I have seen it in forests, gardens and urban parks.

Hi Odile, very good capture of this kookaburra not often seen on TN.The quality isn't the top but still very good despite the distance and the difficult location,i like it! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano
