Spotted Turtle-Dove
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This beautiful bird is called a Spotted Turtle-Dove. This is because of the spotted pattern on its neck.
The tree that it is sitting in is a Mango Tree and when this shot was taken, the mango tree was in flower.
I hope you like this shot. I had to run it through NeatImage as it was a bit grainy. I then put the NeatImage layer over the original and erased the bird and some leaves, so that they remained sharp, rather than having a smudged appearance. |

Hi Claudia,
The bird is very pretty. Looks like it doesn't miss many meals. But then, it's sitting in a Mango Tree.... ahh, I love mangos. I'd love to have a tree in my back yard...;-) But, I'd have to move...:-(
Good picture!
Thanks,
Dave
