[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Living in Hawaii at the time, I didn't see how the Great Barrier Reef could be any better than Hanauma Bay. But then I went. The fish may be comparable, but the living coral makes the whole environment so much nicer. And the scale is AMAZING!

This was taken with a 35mm rental underwater camera. For 11 years I thought all I had captured was some underwater life with a strong blue cast. Then I scanned the negatives, and did a bit of PP, and was amazed. OK, now I'm sold on the PP aspect of digital photography.

PP here consisted of color and contrast adjustment. One click on sharpen.

P.S. I found it interesting that all the Great Barrier Reef photos were above the water. (What y'all don't like to take your cameras underwater?) Maybe I have a TN first?

Hi Mike, Good capture in the waters of the barrier reef. Good clarity and colours which is not at all easy to do well. Congratulations. Murray.
