Hi Tony,

The setting sun and the rising moon - how glorious this picture is. The colors of the clouds above the tree is magnificent. Beautiful composition as always. We don't have daylight savings time in Arizona - never did know why not.

The clouds really create a dramatic sky, they are full of colour and I love the way the sun is lighting them up. Also, the clouds against the deep blue sky is a nice contrast and the moon is an added bonus to your composition. We don't change our clock back until the first Sunday in November. The days are getting shorter and nights longer and colder...burrrr.

Hi Tony,

We have also daylight savings time in Holland. The clock goes at 03.00 am 1 hour back on 28 of october. (Wintertime)A marvelous picture you presented to the members. What a clouds. the sun is glowing on them. Nice compo with the moon in the blue sky. The dark FG make this photo a bit mysterious. Regards and TFS Bob

Simply super clouds...They do portend the possibility of moisture, or at least a break in the day.....Saturation is critically well done. Composition is spot on...

A wonderful cloud formation, most likely stratocumulus!
The light is most eye-catching, catching the upper part of the clouds and leaving the rest in shade...
Fine use of the silhouetted trees, the moon is a fine bonus!

that powershot S5 seems to have fantastic anti shake properties..hand held as this is at 1/100 and at the wide setting it still reeks of tripod and ultra fine grain film
excellent capture with perhaps too much darkness in the lower third
the moon is a striking addition

Sunset or sunrise sky with clouds is a great subject with spectacular results. Apart from the fine textures and colours, I like very much how you "caught" the moon in the right upper corner; it fills a space rather empty otherwise.
