What a charming capture!
I really love the way this welcome swallow looks...it's much more colorfull that the common ones here!
I gues you were a little lucky to catch it sitting there so patiently and letting you shoot it so nicely, with not even all the zoom ;)
The composition here is outstanding! I raelly love the sharp details here - on every edge or line or feather on its body - and also that superb BG.
The light is also wonderful and the exposure spot-on!
Very nicely framed and presented as well.

Wow! You got really close on this very small swallow, an amazing feat even though you had a 100-400mm lens. Excellent details and natural colors, the soft OOF back is th eicing on the cake Pam. :)
