Hi John,

as always is the detail to make a difference, here the red of the bill and of the eye.A demonstration of how a captivating photo is preferable for the human eye to one technically perfect.Composition and POV are good, the bill's pale white bar a bit distracting.A minor work in PP would have lessened the problem.Anyway it's surely a good "portrait".

I agree with Alessio's general statement that a captivating phto can outshine a technically perfect one and true about the white bar. Howver, having said that, you have combined high quality and visual appeal into a very beautiful image. Well done.
