[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Flowers of the Chatham Island gentian - Gentiana chathamica - in the Ocean Mail Reserve on Chatham Island. While most flowers are white, some are veined strongly with pink, as are these. They are flowering this time of the year and this species is unique to the Chatham Islands.

Hi Neil,

It is an interesting species. In my country the gentians are blue or yellow. The focus is not so good but iv very interesting the direction of light.

All the best.

the low angle photograph is more effective for plant photography. nice flowers and brilliantly framed. tfs.
