[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sounds at Frojdland National Park in the south west of New Zealand's south island are a very special place. Surrounded by mighty peaks with snow caps they offer subtropical climate and lear deep waters. The steep walls of the 1500 m high mountains continue up to 1000 meters under water. In spring the snowcaps are melting and many waterfalls drop here and there. The mist allows ferns and moss to grow on blank rock. If you are very lucky to see it on a sunny day which happens about 14 days each year only, the drops create beautifull rainbows. This one was taken in Milford Sound. MS Mitre Peak, a 60 ft vessel was able to come as close as 1 meter to the wall of Mount Mitre Peak which enters the waterline almost vertical. No prob to take a mineral water shower or a drink.

Encore une belle présentation agréable pour l'oeil.
J'aimerai bien avoir été sur place pour contempler cette splandide chute.

Merci pour l'envoi et bonne journée.
