|Well it is always amazing to follow a family as it grows and these little swans are getting bigger every day. I found it interesting in my note on my other swan shot, that only 1 or 2 breeding pairs actually bother to breed each year. On the Cobden lagoon, we see swan pairs all the time and not once have I seen them with babies and yet the pair at the Blaketown lagoon are probably on their second batch.|
The really interesting thing I discovered with this shot, is that the babys seem to all lift one leg out of the water and lie it on their back when they are swimming in a line like this. I don't know if they do it all the time, when they swim, but it was fascinating to see it this time.
PS: sorry but busyness means that posting critiques will be hard for me at the moment, but I have decided not to let it stop me from posting photos, so I hope you still enjoy them.
