House Sparrow Passer domesticus.
A photo i took a while ago of a male House Sparrow feeding one of its young.
Fairly common in New Zealand mostly in built up areas.
They nest early spring to mid autunm and will have 2 or 3 broods of between 4 to 6 young. Eggs are spotted and
can have greyish brown streaks. |
