Whananaki North, Northland, New Zealand

This is another of the beaches found at Whananaki on the east coast of Northland, above Whangarei and below the Bay of Islands. The day was so hot and sunny, and it was the wrong time to take photos, between 12 and 1.30pm, but I thought you'd like to see them . . . so I had to!! More to come…

Hi Janice,

How are you doing?

Nice picture. Good colors and nice setting. It looks like the horizon is slightly tilted though. TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Hi Jancie
Very beautifull photo of seascape.
The clouds in the Rocks ( I suppose) are a must in your picture.

Thank You.

I love that cloud ;)
I don't know why, but when I look at the photo I see it first. It seems to be main subject.
Whole shot is great, has lovely colours and perfect framing.
I like it very much.

Nice shot Janice,
A short vist. I'm not feeling very lively tonight.
Well worth a big green smiley.
Thanks for posting.

Ok, so it's settled, my sunscreen and a hat, bathing suit, and tent.

I love the water, (and was a fish in a former lifetime, I believe), so any time you want to grab my attention, this is the way to do it Janice!

A wonderful sunny, colorful, and stimulating composition.

Fantastic job, TFS.

Superb!!!!

Hi Janice!

Another simple but effective seascape. It look like it will only rain on this island!

Nice composition in a panoramic format. Did you use a polarizing filter? It's not always better, but often it help to get nice dark saturated sky. Very useful for landscape and seascape.
Nice work and TFS.
