This fella was just relaxing when i rolled up to his enclosure, only later did i find out that these guys are quite shy and may snarl or spit if someone was to get a bit too close, he must have liked my hair cut too :-)
These cats are not endangered at all which is a good thing and they may live up to 12-13 years in the wild and up to 25 in captivity. |

Hello Nathan,
I like so much this presentation, it has lot of information.
The animal "pose" is so good, despite we can see it is his relaxing time...
The background is plenty of things, in different deeps, thanks to the value of the DOF.
I like the color balance and sharpness of the image.
The branches in the foreground plays a great role in your composition, very good also.
Congratulations and happy holidays,
JM
Preciosa foto de este lince rojo, buen colorido general de la foto, el entorno también esa muy bien y la pose del lince muy bonita.

Delightful image of this wild cat, Nathan.
It looks at peace with the surroundings, sitting on that sawn-off tree stump.
Very nice point of view, colours and details.
TFS.

Hi Nathan
I didn't know there were Bobcats at the Zoo in Hamilton? I must be due to visit! Lovely work. Neat looking cat. :-)
