Hi Emmanuel

Another fantastic macro from you, my friend!
The mafnification here is great and the sharpness is magnificent!
Also the DOF is impeccable, the lighting excellent (great fill work with the flash) and the colors and tones are simply charming.
A superb composition!

Bravo and TFS

Congrats, Emmanuel
Very sophisticated image.
The decreased DOF range underscores really the subtleness of the beetle.

Hello Emmanuel,
Excellent macro of this tiger beetle, most of all for its sharpness and DOF, but also for the BG and composition.
Well done and TFS,
Regards, Ivan

Hi Emmanuel,
powerful and sensitive image of great composition.
To freeze that very rapidly moving beetle perfectly clear in a short moment of standstill most certainly needs a lot of patience to wait for the right time.
Thank you for this pretty contribution.
With thanks, and best regards,

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Hi Emmanuel!
Really nice picture of a really nice tiger beetle. It is not easy to take a photo of this fast runner! On the picture there is a male of Myriochila (Myriochila) semicincta (Blulle, 1834), one of the only 3 species known from Vanuatu!! It is known also from some other coutries, e.g. Australia, New Caledonia, and Indonesia.
Best regards,
