[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this butterfly walking along Iguaz˙ national park paths. There are many different kinds of butterfly: size, colours, patterns... all of them amazing ones. You can find them specially in places with mud or water, ┤cause they search for some salt (difficult to find in the rainforest).

Searching on some books, I try to ID this one. I think it may be this one:

-Family: Nymphalidae
-Common spanish name: armoniosa
-Common english name: tiger butterfly
-Scientific name: tithorea harmonia pseudethra

Hola Brenda,
I think that the identification as Tithorea harmonia is o.k.
Focus is very soft and sharpness rathre low.
A side-view is easier to manage. So, if possible, I recommend it for the next time.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Brenda,
Though a bit out of focus, I think this photo did deserve more than one comment which I consider quite insufficient. A word of encouragement does help a struggling photographer along so carry on the good work and do not get disappointed. I personally liked this one...thanks for sharing....warmest regards/Abid
