[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all,

Iīve been away for a while, my apologies to all.

Iīm spending some time at Cerro Castor (actually, Krund Mountain: 54°43'26.04"S 68° 1'1.35"W) at Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego, Argentina). The so named "End of the World", or as people here says "where the World starts".

This picture was taken during early training at a ski race. My apologies abou the ski poles and ski slope, I took the pic while being at the chairlift. This are real colours, I havenīt used filters.

Iīm getting lot of fun here: all my life I saw the Andes running along North-South orientation and here it takes a different pattern (West-East), changing again at the Antartica peninsula. So metheorological conditions are complete different. My grandfather told me that red clouds means windy days... He never tought me something so realistic. After this amazing sunrise, the wind start to blow quite hard.

Some about history: Tierra del Fuego province (something like, Land of fires province)has this name because Magallanes saw some fire rituals that natives made. But I canīt stop thinking about if he really saw those fire rituals of if he saw a sunrise like this one...

Wow Brenda, this is an exceptional image. I like the contrast of the glowing colours of the sky, against the light colours of the snow on the mountain. The detail in the clouds are marvellous. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
