It seems a bumblebee, but it is not it, is a killer fly of the Asilidae family, what I think at least. This seemed a great bee. I persecuted it by a little land plenty of grasps that belongs to Siri family , which they have next to the house a small reserve of birds. I did not imagine that they were excited so much with the insects because they are loving of the birds, nevertheless the family all I accompany themselves enthusiastic to look for insects; this made me sweat enough since I ran several minutes. What happens is that with my homemade macro I must be to few centimeters and when moved a grass, zas! it flew as to 5 or 10 meters. This is only acceptable photo to my to understand and according to my possibilities. In the map they will be able to appreciate the forest where the birds are. If they reduce to something the image they are going to see San Miguel of Monte and their beautiful lagoons a pretty place to enjoy. I hope in next imagenes to be showing to its secrets. Critiques and commentary are always welcome

Te quedó muy bueno el macro, casi que parece un modelo en exhibición, los detalles son muy buenos en todo el insecto, usaste una apertura que resultó ser muy apropiada.

Awesome macro shot of this killer fly with immaculate sharpness and details. Superb lighting and neat focus and set against the smooth BG it stands out elegantly. I like its gorgeous blue eyes. Excellent POV to portray this fine pose and very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hi Hernan,

Wonderful image, especially! the quality. The model itself is wonderful, so tiny and yet look at all those intricate details... the little spiky hairs on the legs, the fuzzy body and the lustrous eyes! You maintained a wonderful DOF, a good balance between sharp focus and attention placing blur... this is honestly very well taken! TFS.
