This Howk Moths larvae is Eumorpha satelita from Buenos Aires province, close to my home. This picture was taken in the night when they are active feeding on grape leaves.

According to this photo I have to say that it is a great close-up and fantastic caterpillar portrait! Details are great and the pose of insect funny but natural! Very good documentary photo!

Wow! Macro excelente! Las orugas son criaturas muy interesantes. La oruga contraste bien con el fondo negro. El color verde es hermoso con bueno saturacion. Tengo gusto de la actitud de la oruga también. Los detalles y claridad son bueno. Hermoso! Buen captura!
