[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The pirincho (common name in Argentina of Guira guira) is carnivorous. Its main prey are insects and their larvae (beetles, mealybugs, crickets, lobsters, bedbugs, etc.), and also consume small amphibians, lizards, snakes and other birds' eggs and pigeons. Its main natural predators are birds of prey.

PD: Pirincho is a vulgarism that in Argentina refers to the disordered hair and bristling, like a grassy grass, similar to the plume of thin feathers that has in the head the Guira guira, to which it can fold or erizar at its whim.

Hello Hernan,
What a neat looking bird you have captured for us. Has the head of a bird of prey and a very long body. Beautiful colors and nice eye contact. I like the low POV you chose which makes you feel like your right down there beside it.
