[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
Captured this frog when I saw it in a box of electricity measurer while I wrote the consumption. These frogs generally look for dark places to live and sometimes I do not understand as they enter and they survive.
I took it to the garden of my house and I put it in a branch.
Something orange by the light of the dusk is seen. The quality is not good because I used a magnifying glass to make "macro".
I believe that it is the unique photo of this species in TN.

Ranita trepadora hocicuda

Scinax (Ololygon x-signata) eringiophila - Lutz, 1973

Triangular snout. Clear gray back or brownish with a dark X in the back. Some with round spots white or yellows. Later part of the yellowish thigh with dark cross-linking. Clear belly.

Hello Hernan, very interesting frog. It's certainly well disguised! I think a vertical format here would work well as it would cut out the branch on the right and give the frog more impact. Well done.

Hola Hernan,
Reconozco el efecto de la lupa en esta foto artística de esta maestra del camuflaje. Una composición muy efectiva, con el primer árbol y la cabeza de la rana enfocadas.
Un saludo,
José M.

Hi Hernan,
Good job to create a macro image using a magnifying glass. It came out very well under the circumstances. The composition and framing look great. Colors apperar very good. Nice work!

Interesting picture of this frog with mimetism attributes, Hernan. Maybe more sharpness could correct the softness of the picture. Good pov and dof. Colors looks very natural too. TFS.
