[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
Here I present to a pollinazing insect that in certain years and certain circumstances, like the abundance of flowers in countryside, appears in enormous amounts, pollinating several types of flowers. This year the wild flowers are very abundant, in special daisies, like which it is seen in the photo. I tried to find the name and classification of this species but with negative result. Somebody can contribute some data? They would be welcome.

Hi Hernan

Yes man, you are growing from strength to strength with your macro work. You are busy supercharging that little Kodak of yours. This time you show us an interesting bug, full of pollen, as it goes about pollinating and feeding on the flower. Great stuff.

This is a lovely thoughtful composition. The flower lying in an offset position at the bottom of the frame while the petals of the flower skilfully frame the little pollinator. Stunning colours supported by sharp details, and good exposure. It is so easy for that white and yellow on the flower to OE, but you controlled the lighting very well.

Very well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Muchos saludos, JL.

Hi Hernan,
A great looking macro shot here. The exposure has rendered some beautiful color saturation and very sharp detail. Great DOF has almost the entire scene sharp. Looks great!

Ricardo

Hi, Hernan.
I Liked so much your photography, and i must say, i'm a biologis and this insect at your photo is very abundant in my samples at grasslands. It is a very nice pollinator, a Diptera, from Bibionidae family. Unhapilly, classification at Specie level is very dificult to me, i'm not a specialist in diptera classification. Althought, I hope I'm contributing with this informations.
Best Regards.

Lucas Brazil.
