[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Perito Moreno Glaciar was named after the famous scientist Perito Moreno who explored Patagonia. This famous glacier is visited by millions of people and everyone is waiting for ruptures when the sun is heating the forward moving glacier. I've been there in autumn, so we didn't see so many ruptures (I will post one soon) and the sky was cloudy. But from time to time the sun penetrated the clouds and we got a mystic and spectacular light. All colors are 100% natural!
Hope you like it!

Hi Georg. Colossal. Very pretty shot. Interesting motive. Very well done. tfs. Stev

Hi Georg

I think this is an awesome shot. The contrast between the glacier, the orange hue of the skyline and the darker hillside create a blend of directional lines that pull you towards the blue of the glacier.
Well done, I'd love to see one of these before they all disappear as a result of global warming.
Cheers
Guy

Hi Georg!
This is a very nice composition with good contrast between ice and sky.
The only thing I would suggest to change is to reduce some noises.
Anyway, very nice picture! :)
Regards,
Radomir

Hi,
Even if it has noise, this photograph is superb by the contrast of the colors and its composition.

You chose wonderful lines and shapes for your composition Georg. It is a very strong image in spite of the noise that could be reduced in pp. I love the colors.

Ricardo

One of the great natural beauties of my country Georg depicted with pleasant point of view in harmony with the elected framing.
I like colors captured with efficient illumination that offers beautiful details of the ice wall and good general presentation.
Thank you and a cordial greeting from Buenos Aires... Ricardo

Wow, that is a fantastic place! The more I see ice, the more I understand why people find cold places so beautiful!

Hello Georg
It is more than just a shot... Impressive primordial place, great color contrast, mystic light and dramatic mood... Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Best regards,
Rimantas

What an extraordinary image. A beautiful combination of colors, not only in the glacier, but in the color of the sky, too. A very evocative image. A bit of noise, but that could probably be removed, post editing, without loss of detail. TFS
