I´m back! I´ve been travelling along northern argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
This pic is from one of the three bolivian lagoons. This one is called "Laguna Blanca" (white lagoon) and takes its name because the colour that comes from the high concentration level of minerals.
This lagoon is part of the Eduardo Avaroa National andinean fauna reserve (web page: http://www.sernap.gob.bo/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=93&Itemid=274).
I took a 3 day tour with a local guide. This lagoon is at 4350mts over sea level and during night while you can see the clearest sky you can feel the coldest night of your life! I´ve told that temperatures during may may reach -20º.
About the pic, this was taken at midday; sun at this high is quite bothering for eyes and lenses and there is lot of reflection. Also the wind moves the hand each time you try to get out the camera. I hope you can enojoy it.
