[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Portuguese] |
The photograph of this unit of Ephemeroptera was captured in the edge of the river Formoso in the city of Pretty, Mato Grosso of the South. This order of insect is indicating of environment in good condition of conservation, since it does not support high degree of ambient disturbance. It can easily be observed in the aquatic environment neighborhoods where it lives during the period of nymph. Ephemero (of the Ephémeros Greek = that it lasts little, soon, transitory) mentions the little time to it of life that it outside possesss of the water (as adult), that it is of approximately 3 hours. This short period of life is of the water to find a partner sexual and to multiply.

Dear Cleberson,
your vey nice Ephemeropteran pic has some flaws that I ty to point out for you. The great thing with TN in my view is that you get ideas of how to correct a shot in PS. And:I liked your detailed note.
I tried the following things with your pic (and I think it improved, but I cannot show you the result because you did not enable "Workshop" in your entry page):
* took out the red color that overpowers the animal because of the red foreground (Color balance);
* cropped it to remove disturbing foreground bark.
* sharpened it somewhat
I hope you find my remarks useful.
Greetings, Dietrich
belo exemplar, ótimo texto e linda foto. parabéns.
